More Anti-Calvinism in the SBC

I wonder if Tom Ascol realizes that Arminianism and Calvinism are mutually incompatible systems of theology and that one teaches the Gospel while the other teaches another gospel? (Galatians 1:6-8; 2 Corinthians 11:3-4). It should be no surprise that Arminians are hostile toward the Gospel of grace since Arminianism teaches what is essentially semi-pelagian views on salvation, including a denial of the total inability of humankind to respond to the Gospel call apart from election and regeneration preceding such a response. 1. It's painful to see that you are among the band of those ignorant about the meaning of the term semi-pelagian.

  2. It's even more astounding that a semi-pelagian idolater from Eastern Orthodoxy would complain about being labeled a synergist and a semi-pelagian heretic.
