This is an audio interview with Sydney Anglican and evangelist, Phillip Jensen, who is also the brother of Peter Jensen, Archbishop of Sydney. In this interview Phillip discusses the historical development of the Sydney Diocese and its theological commitment to evangelicalism and reformed theology. Also interesting is his view on why Anglo-Catholicism of the Oxford Movement led to the theological liberalism we see today in the Anglican Communion at large and in the Episcopal Church in the USA. According to Jensen, Anglo-Catholicism and evangelicalism are inherently worlds apart in their theological orientation. For those concerned about the future of evangelicalism in the new Anglican Churches of North America, this is a must hear audio discussion.
In Christ,
Charlie
