VirtueOnline - News - Exclusives - The Future of Anglicanism - Michael Horton interviews David Virtue

The future of Anglicanism appears to be bleak judging by this interview with David Virtue. Virtue sings the praises of Anglo-Catholicism and the Anglican Church in North America and Mike Horton never once asks the question that Virtue is practically begging to be asked, "Is Anglo-Catholicism a true religion?" My answer, of course, is a solid no. Roman Catholic-lite is still a religion of salvation by works. Only when Horton interviews Bishop C. FitzSimmons Allison (retired Bishop of South Carolina) do we hear anything at all about justification by faith alone as a forensic declaration. Tractarians deny the doctrine of forensic justification as a "legal fiction".
