Carl Trueman on Creedal Imperative: "No Creed but the Bible" - YouTube




Every church has a creed whether it is spoken or written in an official statement for all to see.  Baptists, for example, insist on "believer's baptism."   That is in effect a "creed" since the word "creed" comes from the Latin verb, "credo" or "I believe".  The question, therefore, is not whether or not we have a creed but whether or not our creed is biblical and based solely on the authority of Scripture (Article 6) and a most certain warrant of Holy Scripture.  (See Article 8).
