Defends the Gospel of Jesus Christ and classical confessional Calvinism. The term "Reformed" refers to the five solas of the Reformation and the two classical confessional standards: the Three Forms of Unity, and the Westminster Standards. Isaiah 1:18; Romans 12:1,2.
I find Lawrence's views to be Anglo-Catholic at best. He confuses the three legs of the Anglican stool as being equal: 1) Scripture 2) Reason 3) Tradition. The final authority is Scripture because that is the only infallible and inerrant source of discovering the apostolic teaching of Jesus and his apostles. That Lawrence does not get this is a telling reminder of why the Episcopal church is now at odds with Scripture.
