Dr. Mark Thompson: Changes | Theological Theology

I first became aware of the Sydney Anglicans when I visited and decided to join Christ Church Longwood, an Episcopal congregation in Longwood, Florida.  The pastor or rector of Christ Church is David Paul Knox, the son of the late D. Broughton Knox, who was the principal of Moore Theological College.  Dr. Mark Thompson of the Theological Theology blog has been appointed as the new principal of Moore Theological College.  May God grant him the grace to stand for the Protestant, Reformed, Anglican and Evangelical focus which the college has to this date upheld.

Dr. Thompson will be busy with his new duties, and he says that his blogging activities may become more infrequent than before.  Although I disagree with his somewhat Amyraldian view of the atonement and his advocacy of common grace and the free offer of the Gospel, Dr. Thompson is a solid Anglican Evangelical.

Anyone who lives in the Orlando, Florida area should visit Christ Church Longwood and hear the preaching of David Knox.  He is a good friend of mine who has done many things to help me along with my ministry, including allowing me to preach several times from the pulpit and to teach a Sunday school class for several months; the teaching I did was a series on the 39 Articles of Religion.
