I thought this would be an appropriate portrait to include in the blog since Archbishop Thomas Cranmer was the primary figure in the English Reformation. Let us never forget that he was in no wise an Anglo-Catholic and that he gave his life for the Protestant cause. Cranmer would be appalled at the current state of the Anglican communion, particularly Anglo-Catholicism, ordination of women and homosexuals, and a host of other departures from orthodoxy.May God grant us mercy!
