Daily Bible Verse

“And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” -2 Peter 1:5-8 Listen to chapter

Arminian theology is evangelical theology (long) | Roger E Olson

Looks like Roger Olson is not happy with the advances Calvinist theology is making these days. Perhaps Mr. Olson should work at actually answering Calvinism rather than continually using straw man arguments that do not deal with the real issues at all?

Charlie. I would love to see an article by you that explores the non-coincidence of arminian "evangelicals" that convert to Roman Catholicism, looking at another article by Olson: http://rogereolson.com/2011/03/19/evangelical-and-catholic/ . I believe the rate of such conversions to be very high from the arminian community and essentially zero from the reformed community. I don't have any stats on that, but anecdotally it does seem to be the case.
