PCA’s Pacific Northwest Presbytery Finds TE Peter Leithart Not Guilty of Federal Vision Charges

When reformed denominations begin to cater to semi-Arminian doctrines it is not long before there is a slide into the Federal Vision error. The recent acquittal of Peter Leithart of heresy charges in the Presbyterian Church in America is evidence enough that the PCA is moving in an increasingly liberal and revisionist direction. The fact that the Westminster Confession and Larger and Shorter Catechism are no longer front and center doctrinal standards is another sign that the denomination, which itself split from the PCUSA over the issue of the ordination of women, is headed down the path to compromise and apostasy.
