Collect of the Day

The Second Sunday in Lent.

The Collect

ALMIGHTY God, who seest that we have no power of ourselves to help ourselves; Keep us both outwardly in our bodies, and inwardly in our souls; that we may be defended from all adversities which may happen to the body, and from all evil thoughts which may assault and hurt the soul; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Collect from the First Day of Lent is to be read every day in Lent after the Collect appointed for the Day.

Huffington Post Steps Up the Pro-Gay Propaganda: The Queen James Version

I should not be surprised that perversion applies to lying about what the original Hebrew and Greek texts say about homosexuality, but here it is.  The Huffington Post reporters obviously know nothing about biblical Hebrew or biblical Greek:  The Queen James Version

This is so bad as to be outright deception. Anyone who has studied biblical Greek and Hebrew can tell you that these so-called "translations" of "key" verses are perversions of what the Hebrew says straightforwardly. The Queen James Version is nothing more than a commentary of lies meant to legitimize evil.

Here is one example of the mistranslations by this so-called "Bible":

This new version updates several passages from the original version that address homosexuality, including this passage from Leviticus 18:22:
KJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination. QJV: Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind in the temple of Molech: it is an abomination. (Page 75)
