Ronald Nash: An Evaluation of Evangelicalism

Ronald Nash was a Calvinist and Evangelical Baptist.  He died in 2006 but he was an advocate of presuppositional apologetics and was a fan of Carl F. H. Henry and Gordon H. Clark.  Nash was not perfect by a long shot.  By God's providence I came across this lecture on Evangelicalism that was posted at the Third Millennium website.  He explains why so many Evangelical seminaries and colleges have gone liberal and why others are headed in that direction.  I'm posting the link here:  Evangelicalism.  Unfortunately, it seems that Reformed Theological Seminary has closet liberals teaching on the faculties of the various locations.  Bruce Waltke resigned at RTS in Orlando, Florida because he opted for theistic evolution, which naturally leads to neo-orthodoxy.

The Presbyterian Church in America is now predominated by the church growth and contemporary worship mentality which focuses on experiential pietism rather than on a solid and rational understanding of God's logical revelation in Holy Scripture.  The way things are going the PCA will probably be a full blown liberal denomination in another twenty years.
