Chuck Colson: Keynote Speaker at the Inauguration of Don Sweeting at RTS Orlando

Wonders never cease. At one time I thought Reformed Theological Seminary was actually conservative. It is becoming increasingly obvious that "Reformed Theological Seminary" is more sympathetic to broad Evangelicalism and Arminianism than to the particulars of the Reformed confessions. The fact that they have invited a known Arminian and a papist sympathizer who signed the Evangelicals and Catholics Together and the Manhattan Declaration documents is a clear indicator of the direction RTS is going.

One could note the blatant hypocrisy of forcing Bruce Waltke to resign over his theistic evolution views (implying a neo-orthodox view of the Old Testament) while at the same time holding a dinner in his honor. If Waltke is unfit for ministry at RTS, why honor him when it is obvious that Waltke has decided to take theological positions which oppose the inspiration, infallibility and inerrancy of Holy Scripture?
