Sexegesis: An important contribution to a vital debate

Dr. Mark Thompson recommends the book, Sexegesis: An Evangelical Response to Five Uneasy Pieces on Homosexuality.   As he points out, the world has tried to shame conservative Christians because of their commitment to Scripture as the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine and morality.  While the world calls good evil and evil good, the Evangelical Christian is unable to agree (Isaiah 5:20; Proverbs 17:15; Matthew 6:23; Luke 11:35).  Christians are not obsessed with any side issue such as the homosexual political lobby.  They are focused on the Lord Jesus Christ and the Scriptures, from which the whole body of teaching in the churches flows.
