Anglican Forums

It would appear that the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans, the Jerusalem Declaration, and the Goals of the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans is a controversial issue over at Anglican Forums, Anglican.net.  Anyone who happens to disagree with the liberal biases of the incognito Admin, a faceless person who does not identify his or her qualifications to judge theological and biblical issues, is censored from saying anything, quoting Scripture, or quoting from confessional statements, etc.  What is worse, there are no formal rules written for anyone to see what is or is not off-topic.  What is considered off-topic is random and arbitrary at the discretion of the Admin.

Usually, the administrators of these forums have little to no knowledge of Scripture, the creeds, confessions, formularies or anything else.  That's why I find it to be frustrating to participate in groups where there dictatorial powers given to the administrators without any clearly defined parameters, rules, or any other guidelines.

The blatant hypocrisy of the Anglican Forums is such that one poster, namely one "historyb", had a tag line that said, "Calvinism is heresy."  When I complained the Admin promptly reprimanded the poster who then changed his tag line to "Calvinism is 'reprehensible'."  As if that is a significant change?  The Admin then replied when I complained:  "He changed the word from 'heresy' to 'reprehensible'."

Duplicity reigns.

This is why I usually stick to blogging.  It is also why I started my own discussion group at Facebook called "Reformed Anglicans for Scripturalism."  I will not be participating any further at Anglican Forums since it is obvious that I will be muzzled and censored from saying anything that the administrator disagrees with.

Thank God. You belittle anyone you disagree with, you do not exhibit any Christin traits. I doubt you'll allow this through but know this everyone can see how unChristian you really are.

You have slandered me in your blog post, so I have your IP address and may pursue legal avenues against you.

I doubt I have slandered you. You're obviously not the Admin at Anglican Forums. At least he or she can spell correctly.

As for the term "belittle", I know that is untrue since I stick to formal arguments and do not use ad hominem or personal attacks. If pointing out logical errors is offensive to someone, they ought to realize that it is nothing personal. Truth matters.

Salvation is by grace and grace alone. There is nothing anyone can add to what God does to save His elect, who are chosen unconditionally from before the foundation of the world. (Ephesians 1:4, 5, 11; 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7).

Sincerely,

Charlie

Also, in case you didn't read the comments section, I frown on anonymous comments. I stand on my character, unlike you and the rest of the gang over at Anglican Forums.

The Scriptures alone are the Word of God.

"Is not My word like a fire?" says the LORD, "And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29 NKJ)

As for the lawsuit, I fail to see how I could have slandered an avatar:)

If it is "unChristian" to hold to the Scriptures rather than to your opinion, so be it. But I thought that the Scriptures were God's Word and your opinion is just your opinion?

I could be wrong. Perhaps there is no God and the Bible is just another uninspired book. But I do not believe that.

The Bible claims to be the final authority and I will stand upon the Word of God until my dying breath.

because "All flesh is as grass, And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, And its flower falls away, 25 But the word of the LORD endures forever." Now this is the word which by the gospel was preached to you. (1 Peter 1:24-25 NKJ)

The Word of God is offensive to the self-righteous. It always has been. The idea that everyone deserves hell, that no one is righteous, and the only way of salvation is by grace alone offends those who think they are righteous. But the righteous need not a physician.

Jesus answered and said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." (Luke 5:31-32 NKJ)

The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good. 2 The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God. 3 They have all turned aside, They have together become corrupt; There is none who does good, No, not one. (Psalm 14:1-3 NKJ)

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (Romans 3:23 NKJ)

You slandered a name, not a avatar get a clue. Your a troll plain and simple. You act as if your better than anyone else and your not. This is my login for blogger and s you noticed I am logged in.

There is a lot you don't now and much you judge on. By your fruits you do not present a Christian face to the world. It is people like you, that think they know everything, that turn people away from Christ.

I shake the dust off my feet and may God deal with you.

How can I slander someone who is faceless and anonymous? :)

Your sign in is still anonymous. I stand on my good name and my character. As you can see, my name is here as well as my picture. So sue me.

Secondly, you're the one attacking me as a person. My arguments all have to do with Scripture and theology. Sorry if the Holy Scriptures bother you so much.

"If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), (John 10:35 NKJ)
"Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 "Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 "For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20 NKJ)
"Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect. (Matthew 5:48 NKJ)
But He answered and said, "It is written,`Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.'" (Matthew 4:4 NKJ)
