John Calvin Rejects the Doctrine of the Free Offer of the Gospel

While God foresees that this will be the result, he purposely sends his prophets to them, that he may involve the reprobate in severer condemnation, as is more fully explained by Isaiah, (Isaiah 6:10).  -- John Calvin

It is clear from both God's eternal decrees and from the revelation in Holy Scripture that God does NOT desire to save all who hear the Gospel, much less all men in the world.  The dialectical theology of the followers of Cornelius Van Til, including Westminster Seminary, Philadelphia and Westminster Seminary, California, is to be rejected.  All Scripture is in logical agreement.  Van Til, on the other hand, said that all Scripture is apparently contradictory.  (Isaiah 6:10).
