This discussion concerns the Pentecostal/Charismatic attack against the Biblical emphasis on sound doctrine. The theological roots of the Pentecostal movement are Wesleyan/Arminian but in recent years the movement as a whole has degenerated into cultic and pseudo-Christianity. While there are some orthodox churches and ministers within the Pentecostal movement, the vast majority have sold out to the Word of Faith movement and the emphasis on the here and now instead of where an individual will spend eternity. This video is an excellent discussion of why we need to know the Bible and sound teaching.
