The BibleWorks program has three different ways to search. There is the command line search, the command line search assistant and the graphical search window. All three of these tools allow for sophisticated searches, including original language and morphological searches. While it does take time to learn how to utilize these tools, seminary students and pastors will find them useful for exegesis. BibleWorks has many lexicons with the base package and includes much more for less money that one will get with the Logos 4 package. Logos is much more expensive and requires continual upgrading to keep one's library investments current. As someone else said, it is better to have a hardcopy of commentaries and other books unless you use them frequently.
I particularly like the diagramming module since it helps one to see the syntactical and grammatical relationships of words within sentence structures. Additionally, the vocabulary modules have sound files which read out the correct pronunciation of both Hebrew and Greek vocabulary words. Also the verb charts have sound files with them with the correct pronunciation of both the Hebrew and Greek verb and parsing charts. Nouns, pronouns, articles and adjectives are also pronounced in audio files. This is a great learning aid for seminary students attempting to learn the biblical languages.
I'm still learning the many feature of BibleWorks. Although the unabridged version of the Bauer, Arndt and Gingrich lexicon is not included, the abridged version is included. Thayer's unabridged Greek New Testament lexicon is part of the base package and so is the unabridged Brown Driver and Briggs Hebrew lexicon.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son : and to the Holy Ghost;
Answer. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be : world without end. Amen.
