The Rev. Robert Schuller Reportedly Ousted from Crystal Cathedral Ministries - FoxNews.com

Looks like financial woes are not the only disagreement going on at the Crystal Cathedral and the Hour of Power. It seems that Robert H. Schuller, now 84, was opposed to standing for the true Gospel and opposed to standing for the moral law of God. But that should not be surprising to anyone who knows much about Schuller. I wonder if the elder Billy Graham has softened his views again homosexuality in his "mellow" old age? That is apparently Billy Graham's reasoning for affirming Robert Schuller, Sr.'s "wider mercy" view where those who have not heard the Gospel are saved by some unconscious faith in Christ, a "felt need." Graham made that statement on the Hour of Power program a few years ago. The board members at the Crystal Cathedral have apparently shown Mr. Robert H. Schuller, Sr. the door.

Robert H. Schuller has been at odds with his daughters over how they have chosen to run the church. The cathedral recently switched over from a traditional worship format to a Gospel-style choir -- much to the chagrin of many long-time members. Sheila Schuller Coleman also required choir members to sign a covenant acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and the belief that marriage should be between a man and a woman.

The older Schuller publicly lashed out at the contract saying everyone is welcome in the church. Phillip Johnson, the architect who constructed the cathedral's iconic glass sanctuary, was an openly gay man.
