are you attending the "Liberate" conference on grace at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church? Michael Horton is speaking.

David,

I was not planning to attend. Although I like Mike Horton, I have some serious disagreements with him. One of those disagreements is the doctrine of common grace. Another is his endorsement of Van Til's theology of Scripture as an analogy of God's words rather than the literal propositional truth claims in univocal language. The analogy theory opens the door to neo-orthodoxy.

I will take a look at the schedule and see if I can make the conference. Are you planning to attend?

I see that your church is a charismatic church. As you probably know, I completely reject both Pentecostal and Charismatic theology since I believe it is inherently heterodox.

I pastor a charismatic leaning church. I went through a rather charismatic phase in the 1980s and 1990s. I would call myself a four point calvinist now but I am not a cessationist when it comes to the gifts of the Spirit
