How Do You Normalize Sin?

The homosexual and transgender lobby is smart.  To make their sinful rebellion against God seem normal the agenda is simply to use the media and the government to promote anti-Christian propaganda.  The attack on dogmatic theology of the Bible is relentless in the news, in the movies, in sitcoms, and even on sports programs now.

Even the Democratic party tipped its hand in their last Democratic convention when they voted, if only briefly, to remove God from their platform.  The liberals have opted to use forcible take over of our country by means of political maneuverings meant to undermine the freedom of religion and free speech.  Anyone who dares to stand for traditional Christian values may soon face the threat of jail or worse.  The government will use whatever power it has at hand to silence political and religious dissidence against homosexuality, the transgender movement, and abortion.

The barrage of propaganda on television, radio and the internet has persuaded the godless that Christians are intolerant bigots who deserve no mercy.  Only churches that toe the politically correct line will be able to retain their tax free status with the IRS.

This truly is the last days.  The time of great persecution is upon us and most Christians are too naive to see it coming.

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Timothy 3:1-7 NKJ)

Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, "Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation." (2 Peter 3:1-4 NKJ)

Your comment that "The government will use whatever power it has at hand to silence political and religious dissidence against homosexuality, the transgender movement, and abortion." is emotive and an overstatement of the situation. Dissidence has not been silenced: your blog is just one example.

However, preaching against such things as homosexuality, transgender and abortion needs to be conducted with sensitivity. Others hide behind your words and use them as a cover to exercise violence against minority groups with impunity.

Please be careful.
