Does the Pope and Rome Contradict Their Stance Against Abortion: The Trinity Foundation - The Roman Catholic Socialist Agenda

By speaking of “human dignity” having been “wounded by sin” and “redeemed by the Lord Jesus Christ in His incarnation, death and resurrection,” the Roman Catholic Church has simply retrofitted its old dogma that “It [original sin] is a deprivation of original holiness and justice, but human nature has not been totally corrupted….”[5] With this new tool – “human dignity…wounded by sin…redeemed…” – the Vatican is now able to accommodate the socialist-statist trends so prevalent in modern secular thinking.  -- Richard Bennett, ex-Catholic priest and Reformed Calvinist.

I wondered by a nun could stand before the Democratic National Convention and praise their idol, Barry Obama, while thousands of supporters cheered the radical abortionist plank and the radical pro-pansexuality plank of the far left.  It would appear that the Roman Catholic Church is a hypocritical advocate of the pro-life position.  Abortion and homosexual rights are tolerated by the papists in the hopes that they will regain secular power in the political realm.  So much for the theonomic and reconstructionist theory of renewal rather than biblical reform.

It might be different if Romney had the power or motivation to do anything about abortion, but he doesn't. So abortion is an irrelevancy in this election. Nothing particularly upsetting about seeing someone support the un-Christian Obama with his un-Christian world view, compared to supporting the un-Christian Romney with his un-Christian world view.

That's brilliant logic:) Vote for the devil because your vote doesn't matter anyway. Why not stand for what is right rather than agreeing with the devil? But again, you reveal yourself to be opposed to the moral law of God as the absolute standard of right and wrong. Thanks for letting us know once again that for you relativism reigns supreme. By your logic it would have been OK to vote for Hitler because his opponent couldn't do anything about genocide anyway:)

Right!

"For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it-- 29 "lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 "saying,`This man began to build and was O not able to finish?' 31 "Or what king, going to make war against another king, does not sit down first and consider whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 "Or else, while the other is still a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks conditions of peace. 33 "So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple. Pelagianism rehashed. Man isn't really totally corrupt after the fall? Right!

Was I right (obeying the moral law) by not voting for either?

Tragically, Relativism does reign supreme in the unregenerate man.

Man is totally corrupt after the Fall. I heard Sproul say but man is not utterly corrupt. Is this correct?

(By the way, I recently came upon your site thru The World's Ruined. Your refutations of the posts on your Transgender Myth Post was fantastic and so helpful.) I thank you for being such a learned and well-spoken reasonable Christian.

Rubin, what with the constant barrage of liberalism, relativism, and irrationalism in the liberal media it's no surprise that Obama won. The real surprise would be if the conservatives ever gain power again in the government. Our taxpayer dollars subsidize the left via PBS tv and radio.

As for my post on the transgender issue, it's politically incorrect. If I worked for the government such talk would get me fired. And you call this a "free" country? Religious dissidence here is against the law every bit as much as it is in Russia or China.

God is still sovereign, though. His judgment against America is the re-election of the anti-Christian, Barack Obama.

Gordon H. Clark pretty much devastated the idea that the empirical sciences can find truth in any final sense.

I'm sure one day, speaking like you did against the transgender myth, WILL get you put in jail.

God is completely sovereign indeed, and in that we have no fear of what can kill the body.
