Well, I don't think so. There is no reason why Frame's tri-spectivalism should do so. Based on my reading of both Keller and Frame, I believe they preach the gospel as presented in Scripture and the Westminster Confession. Perhaps in the Willow Creek matter, Keller misused tri-spectivalism but the system itself is useful.
Well, anyone who thinks works contribute to justification here, now, or ever is simply a semi-pelagian. Tri-perspectivalism is an unbiblical philosophy which is read back into the text at best. Furthermore, it openly endorse "subjectivism" which can only lead to compromise and heresy. Frame's endorsement of a word of faith preacher like Joel Osteen is just proof that Frame himself is a false prophet.
It is no different than Billy Graham inviting Roman Catholic semi-pelagians to participate in his crusades. It makes no difference to me who does it, it is still heresy whether it is Billy Graham or John Frame. I follow Christ, not false prophets.
I'm weighing this recent attack-piece. Will post when done.

For sure, when Rev. Frame deals with the Osteen issue, it is a "most low point." I'm confident of this point.

As Rick says in his piece anytime Triperspectivalism is brought up Reformed distintives must be downplayed. I certainly believe that as a whole Reformed folks and Churches could express more charity toward other misguided followers of Jesus but not at the expense of sacrificing Truth. As Martin Luther stated "Peace if possible, Truth at all costs".
Wayne, Billy Graham has done much good I cannot deny. But when Graham appeared on the Robert Schuller Hour of Power program and said that people all over the world believe in Jesus in their hearts and do not even know it, I lost all respect for the man. If people already have an unconscious relationship with Christ, why send missionaries or evangelists around the world preaching the Gospel?
I think there needs to be a return to polemics and apologetics. All this emphasis on tolerance, amalgamation of denominations, and other such nonsense leads either to Rome or to liberalism. Take your pick.
What we need is a solid and robust confessional stance among local denominations and a strong reliance on classical theology and "neo-fundamentalism."

I do not think that either John Frame or Tim Keller believe that works contribute to justification. I have not read that anywhere in their works. As for tri-spectivalism, it has nothing to do with justification nor does it relativize the Reformed faith. It is, as Frame says, a pedagogical tool.
It is a well known fact that Frame sided with Norman Shepherd, who is overty a semi-pelagian. Also, in Frame's review of Mike Horton's book he exposed himself several times over as confusing justification by faith alone with semi-pelagianism, particularly when he endorses Joel Osteen, who is not even semi-pelagian but openly pelagian and even "gnostic."
I don't know as much about Keller but I know enough to say that Keller is as controversial as Frame. Both men seem to be willing to sell the Gospel out in order to forge a broad evangelicalism which stands for nothing.
Unity at the expense of truth is heresy.
Even Don Carson, Keller's partner at the Gospel Coalition, is smart enough to say that truth is absolute and unity is relative.

Furthermore, triperspectivalism is not a "pedagogical tool." Rather it is inserting or eisogeting into th text what is not there. The doctrines of sola Scriptura, sufficiency of Scripture, perspecuity of Scripture, and the priesthood of believers overrules any such esoteric approach to propositional truth revealed in Holy Scripture.
Frame is a product of Van Til's irrationalism and the fruits of such and approach are becoming more and more obvious.
